Heartlock

A gift for a dear friend I haven't seen in too long . She wanted something with color red and the last time I gave her one of my crazy hearts (yep it was that long ago ~~), and I wanted to keep a tradition, so I came up with something like that. The quote on the back is by Charlotte Brontë.

The pendant is about 53x57 mm, made of metallic silver polymer clay, Swarovski zirconias and a few glass micorballs. It was handmade from scratch, with no molds or stamps used apart from a impront of a real grapevine leaf. The lettering os also done by hand. The whole item is painted with matt protective varnish. 

I wanted to achieve the depth, so the zircons in the keyhole were somewhat hidden. I added another layer in between the one with the zircons and the top one. If you want to see all the parts, crappy phone photo is here ^^. fav.me/d6qt4mq
