Create, don't doubt

Description

I don't know about you, but I often doubt in my skills or abilities. And for me the best way is to force myself into creating again. The start is often difficult but about 1/3 in I usually already feel better. When I saw this quote I knew I have to make something with it, and what's better than a notebook, a tool for creating? :)

It's a perfect gift for someone who you think is talented but maybe need that extra puch to believe in themselves.

The journal base is Canson Art Book One, with 100 sheets of 100g/m2 white paper, perfect for sketching or just writing a new ideas for your stories. It's 10,2 x 15,2 cm (4x6 in).
The cover is made of precolored metallic polymer clay. I used a deep sky blue glass bead and 17 vintage Swarovski zirconias in different shade of blue and green. The upper floral part and the dots on the bottom are touched up with extra fine glitter. The whole item is painted with protective varnish.

The cover is handmade from scratch, without the use of any molds, stamps or cutters.
It's ONE OF A KIND.

I absolutely love this! I just tried my hand at covering journals...started really small...and I couldn't believe how much clay it required! lol Definitely scared me off from larger endeavors...but after seeing this I want to try again! lol Thanks so much for sharing something so beautiful and inspiring!
