Asari Earringsby ~tishaia

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry / Earrings & Piercings

These earrnings are based on the Asari (Mass Effect) clothing as portayed in "The Art of Mass Effect" book. This is totally Spicyshimmy's fauilt, she mentioned "Liara collection of Asari earrings" in one of her fanfic drabbles and I just had to >.<.
I didn't want to make the obvious blue-tentackle-thingy, so I worked out something like this. The purple ones have some kind of Justicar vibe to them (I have been told so

), I guess it might be said that they are something Samara would wear. The middle ones with multi-colored zircon are based on Matriarch Benezia, I wanted them to be a little more darkish hence the black spike things, but also the filegree that suits the powerfull Asari. The last ones, with blue zircons are something someone younger would wear, I particulary thought of Liara herself.
They all have more or less obvious floral patterns, I pressed the grapewine leaf and the piece of fern into the clay to achieve that.

The earrings are made of metallic polymer clay and Swarovski zirconias. They are painted with a gloss varnish.
Thay are all totally handmade without the use of any molds or stamps, and they are ONE OF A KIND - there is only one copy of each design.

Would you like to see the turian-themed set? Drell-themed? Elcor-themed? XD I am tempted to try and make a few designs ^^.

One of those went to spicyshimmy, who makes my days so much better with her writing that I just had to show my appreciation somehow. Hope she will like them when she gets them, I am sush a fangirl of hers >.<.
